Tips for Success in Farmville

* Raspberries are a great quick-growing plant as they mature in just about two hours and will net you just under 50 coins. Blueberries may take a little longer but the wait is surely worth it as they will ultimately make you gain 91 coins. Another popular choice is strawberries, with a growth cycle time of four hours and a payout of thirty-five coins.
* Another choice is to raise livestock, such as cows. The animals are more fun to raise than crops but they payoff isn’t nearly as great and you won’t realize your full Farmville earning potential.
* Trees are another alternative to crops that don’t require as much care but also don’t have the same return on investment. They’re a little slower to grow. A good example is apple trees, which grow in three days and will earn you 28 coins.
* Helping your neighbor is rewarded in Farmville. Got some extra time? Visit some neighboring farms to help with weeding and other tasks and you’ll pocket some coins and experience too.
* Bigger fields of course, will allow you to plant more, therefore will be much more profitable. However, in order to accomplish this you need to have several friends (called neighbors). For instance you need to have at least eight neighbors to expand the farm to a 14×14 lot, or better, 10 neighbors will give you a 16×16 lot. Of course, the more neighbors, the bigger land you may own, therefore the higher the profits.
* You can purchase additional building to get to the next level faster and move the game forward. But the buildings won’t earn you profits like the crops do. However, ultimately, they will just sit there and not bring any profits.
